Trailer loading / float loading can be a difficult thing for a lot of horses and horse owners, but it doesn’t have to be that way. It becomes a difficult thing, if the horse doesn’t feel he can rely on you when you miss out on the fundamental basics you’ll need to have in place before even thinking about the trailer.
In this course I’ll show you all the steps you’ll need to load your horse on the trailer with trust. Make sure to start with the fundamental basics first, also when your horse knows about the trailer but has run in to troubles. There is always something missing for the horse, which most of the times has nothing to do with the trailer. Therefor, make sure you start this journey with a connection. If you do the checks explained in the first video of the fundamental basics, and some elements are missing in this, make sure to go over the videos of the Core Elements Course again, and follow the Groundwork Course before starting with the fundamental basics to trailer loading.
Besides the fundamental basics to trailer loading, this course will also provide you with special cases. Watch the process I go over with horses who have developed trailer loading issues and learn from their journey.
