Step 1: Core Elements
This course is where it all begins. You’ll learn the key principles behind everything I do with horses. When you understand these principles, you’ll begin to see horses the way I do — and that changes everything.
Learn to Speak Your Horse’s Language
In this course, I share what I’ve learned over years of working with horses. You’ll discover:
- How horses communicate
- How to ask questions and respond to what your horse is telling you
- Why feel, timing and positivity is everything
- How your mindset shapes your connection
- How to be a true leader for your horse
- What it means to deeply connect with your horse
Set Yourself Up For Success
This is the place to start if you want to understand my way of working with horses — and to genuinely understand your horse. Everything else builds on these core principles. When you ever feel stuck, come back here. This course is your foundation for all that follows.
See Horses, And Yourself, In A Whole New Way
By the end of this course, you have all the knowledge to truly understand horses. You’ll be able to understand how they think, how they feel, and how to build a two-way communication. With that understanding you’ll feel more confident, clear and calm every time you work together. It’s a whole new way of being with your horse. This is where real connection starts, and it’s the base for everything that comes next.

Step 2: Feather Light Start
After you’ve learned about the Core Elements — it’s time to put them into action. In this course, I show you the process I go through with every horse I meet, no matter their age, breed or history. I show you how I begin: from liberty, to groundwork, to guiding your horse through new experiences and obstacles.
How I Start With Every Horse
In this course, I show you exactly how I build a solid foundation. We start with liberty, move into groundwork on the rope, and then add attributes like flags and obstacles to build confidence in new situations.
This is where true partnership begins — and I can’t wait for you to experience it.
Watch the Process Unfold
You’ll see every step, just as it is — real sessions, real progress. You’ll learn how to bring the Core Elements to life: from creating two-way communication and connection, to adding value and finding softness.
You’ll first learn what to look for by watching me at work with an experienced horse — then I take you through the full process with a challenging young mare who was completely new to me.
You’ve Prepared Your Horse for What Comes Next
By the end of this course, you have set the beginning to find a true connection with your horse. You have learned how to start in liberty and take the first groundwork steps by using soft body language and work with intention.
You’ll be able to guide your horse through new situations, help him release tension, and find softness and relaxation. You’ll understand how to use small, clear cues to communicate, and support your horse when he feels unsure.
After this course you are ready to move on to any of the other courses, knowing you’ve built the foundation your horse actually needs.
Starting Young Horses
Starting a young horse under saddle is a big moment. What your horse learns during these moments will stay with him for life, good or bad. A good start teaches your horse that working together is something positive. That learning is safe. And that he can trust you — even when something feels new or a little unsure.
With this course, you’ll help your horse feel confident and happy as he begins his riding journey. Let’s make sure your it’s a great one!
Create a Confident Young Riding Horse
In this course, you’ll learn how to give your young horse a positive and stress-free start under the saddle. We go from preparing your horse on the ground, to the first time saddling, to the first rides, to building soft steering and finding balance.
You’ll learn how to guide your horse through each new moment in a way that builds trust, not tension. This is where your horse learns how to handle new situations — and whether working together is something to enjoy, or something to fear.
Follow Along With Real Young Horses
This course takes you inside real training sessions with young horses with different characters, who are going through the process for the first time.
I teach you every step of my unique process of starting young horses under the saddle by showing you the full process of their actual first steps from groundwork, saddling, mounting, preparing the horse for a rider, first rides, steering, finding balance and first outings.
Give Your Horse a Start He'll Always Remember
By the end of this course, you’ll know how to give your young horse the kind of start that sets him up for life — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. These first experiences are more than just “getting him used to riding.” This is where your horse learns how to learn.
At the end of this course you have learned how to ride your young horse in a walk, trot, and canter — on a long rein, with balance and confidence. He’ll be able to follow your body from above, steer, and move with trust and relaxation.
This course helps you build a calm foundation. One your horse will carry with him through every new step, for the rest of his life.

Groundwork & Riding
After you’ve completed Step 2: Feather Light Start, you’re ready to go deeper into groundwork and learn how to refine your timing, feel, and communication. It’s not about doing more exercises, but about doing them with more meaning. You’ll learn how to recognize what your horse is thinking and feeling, and how to adjust in the moment to create real understanding. In the riding section, you’ll discover my approach to riding: one that looks for softness, harmony, and trust.

It’s about helping your horse feel good again — by making sure he feels seen and understood, so he can communicate with you openly instead of using problem behavior to express himself. If you want real solutions that work for both you and your horse, this course is for you.
Learn to Understand What Your Horse is Telling You
